last days in helsinki
With great sadness, Daniel and I have left Finland and returned to the states for now. The Wood program at Aalto, which brought us to Helsinki, finished this past week + we ultimately ran out of money by the end. So, we planned to come back to the US + recuperate for a little while until we figure out what’s next.
It’s been a difficult last few weeks, as we say goodbye to such a wonderful place that we have come to call home. I think that Finland became the home I never knew I needed. Goodbyes are hard.
