Long Exposures

Since I'm a morning person, all of my photos tend to be taken in the daytime. However, I am always trying to challenge myself with different ways of taking photos because that's how I will grow as a photographer. So recently, I've been striving to take more photos at night. And let me tell you, it is a blast.

I've always been kind of afraid to go outside at night and take photos in a public place, but then I realized that doing things that scare you is awesome. Because once you do them, you realize that they really aren't all that scary. Also, do I really care what people passing by me on the road think of me? No. Not at all. So I walk past them with confidence to my photo execution spot of choice and shoot some pretty sweet photos.

These shots are from last night, when I decided to skip a ton of traffic, park my car and walk over to the freeway overpass with my camera. I think they turned out pretty cool.
