Bankstameet 3.0: Sunrise at Narrows of the Harpeth
Greetings,
Yesterday was super awesome!
Kevin and I had been wanting to have a Bankstameet at Narrows of the Harpeth for a few weeks, and we finally locked in our plans on Sunday night to catch the sunrise there on Monday morning. With the alarm set for 4:40am, I definitely broke my personal record for earliest wake up time. I have to say, driving around at 5am on a cool spring morning is a m a z i n g and I want to do it all the time.
The hike up the cliff had me singing Corbin Bleu's "Push It To The Limit" in my head, (not really) however, once we reached the top, the simmer of my burning legs was silenced. We waited a little longer than we would have hoped for the morning fog to burn off, but it sure made for some beautiful photos. Afterwards, we hit up The Loveless Cafe for breakfast and it was superb.
Here's what I captured..
Also, Kevin took this super sick photo of me doing a yoga pose that I do not know the name of on top of the rocks and it's like the coolest photo ever. Juh'sayin.
