London
Last weekend, I went on a solo trip to London, England! I have a few friends who live there and it’s only about a 3 hour flight from Finland. Plus, I had never been before! I stayed with a friend of a friend, who I hadn’t met before. She was wonderful, we got along so well and I really enjoyed staying with her.
I honestly felt really homesick for Helsinki. But, I think it was really awesome to experience another country and get out of my comfort zone. I found London to be more similar to America than I thought. Compared to Finland, it’s much more fast-paced, dirty, loud, etc… 😂 I really enjoyed the atmosphere of people, the diversity and the architecture. Plus, it was really fun to see my friend, Lydia, from Nashville! We met up and went all over the city.
