February Recap

Happy Friday, friends!

I think I speak for everyone when I say that I am very glad that (not so) sweet Octavia has finally departed from us. Nashville was not prepared for her. I never thought I'd say this, but I'm ready for spring.

This month has no doubt been one of my busiest months ever. I've had so much planned for every week, and while it was fun to be busy for a change, it was quite exhausting.

I took a lot of pictures, too, and I've decided to share them with you in this recap of my February...

Two months in, 2015 has been nothing like I thought it would be. I assumed that a lot of things would magically change with the new year, but then reality hit me. January 1st was just another day, and March 1st will be the same.

All in all, February was fun. Next month, I hope to spend more designated time in the Word, and also be in an overall better mood.

Here's a verse from Isaiah that has encouraged and reminded me that, despite the awful things I do and the crazy mistakes I make, the Lord our God is great. He never stops loving us and He never stops pursuing us, even though we willingly run miles and miles in the opposite direction.

"Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might He increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." -Isaiah 40:28-31

I hope you have a wonderful Friday. Enjoy the sun!

Till next time,
