Spring Break 2015
Since I am not in school, I decided to use my time off of work this past week to go "all out" for spring break. I tried to jam-pack each day with something fun, and was happy when a few things popped up last minute for me to participate in. Here is my Spring Break 2015 week in a nutshell. I hope you enjoy.
3/15 On Sunday, my parents and I went to Burgess Falls over in Smithville, Tennessee. We also toured the countryside down towards Murfreesboro. It was so much fun and I plan to go back to the falls soon.
3/16 Monday was the second #Bankstameet with Kevin. The weather was wonderful and I may or may not have driven down Franklin Road with all the windows down listening to Taylor Swift... Naturally, we went to Pinewood Social to enjoy the outdoor patio, as well as some good old fashioned ping pong. And as always, I ordered the fried broccoli with the delectable almond garlic dipping sauce.
Next, we headed to Hendersonville for no particular reason, other than the fact that I had never been there before. We took part in some chizzle and sizzle (chips and salsa) and wandered around by the lake taking sweet photos. I stood in the water, inside of a tree, and did some cartwheels very close to another tree that was surrounded by mosquitoes. If that isn't photo dedication, I don't know what is.
3/17 On Tuesday, I met up with some girls from The InstaFamily and walked around Radnor Lake for a bit. We ended up at T.G.I. Friday's where I ate an entire meal's worth of french fries as well as some whiskey cake and a cupcake. (Extremely healthy, I know.) It was a fun Saint Patrick's Day.
3/19 On Thursday, I went to McKay's with Sam and found old Anberlin and Taylor Swift CDs. I also got a Ned from Frothy Monkey 12S and everything in the world suddenly got 1,000,000,000 times better. We went to Brixx Pizza for dinner with The InstaFamily and indulged in some Whole Foods gelato afterwards. It was a good day.
I find it funny that this is the only picture I took that day. Try not to be blinded by Ned's beauty. I dare you.
3/21 Saturday was the Socality Worldwide Instameet in Nashville. It was so much fun! I love the city of Nashville dearly, so it was a total blast to wander the streets with two of my favorite things: my friends and my camera.
3/22 On Sunday, Cameron and I drove to Chattanooga for another instameet held by Rachael Crowe. Though it rained in the city, I think we all still managed to get some good shots. The 'Noog will always be a favorite city of mine.
A special thanks to Cameron, my brother, for being an awesome photo subject. These turned out great.
This week was filled with adventure, friends, and lots of photos. I'm glad that I decided to make the most of my Spring (not so) Break. It was super, super fun.
